Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 : A new scheme has been launched by the government on March 13, 2024, which is called Electric Mobility Yojana 2024. While launching the scheme on behalf of the central government, India's Industries Minister Mahendranath Pandey has allocated Rs.500 crore for it. In an important development aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles, the government has unveiled a significant assistance program worth Rs.50 thousand. Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme Registration & Apply Online, Biggest Scheme of Year 2024 Realised. The EMPS 2024 scheme will be implemented to promote sales of two-wheelers and three-wheelers in the country.
This Yojana will start from 1st April and you can get subsidy by purchasing two wheeler vehicle under this scheme for 4 months. If you want to buy any two wheeler under this scheme, you will be given a financial assistance of Rs.10000 by the government.
The Industries Minister has said that the aim is to sell maximum number of two-wheelers and three-wheelers under this scheme. Assistance will be provided to approximately 3.3 lakh two wheeler buyers. While the target is to cover more than 31000 three-wheelers like e-rickshaws and e-karts etc. For a three-wheeler, a subsidy of Rs.25,000 will be given, while if you buy a larger three-wheeler, a subsidy of Rs.50,000 will be given.
The Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024 is going to replace the scheme launched on February 9. Earlier its budget was Rs.10 crore which has been increased to Rs 11500 crore. The earlier scheme will expire on 31 March 2024.

The project is being financially supported by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, which has provided A grant of Rs.19.8745 crores has been allocated. Additionally, industry partners have contributed an additional Rs.4.78 crore has been contributed. As a result, the total cost of the project is Rs.24.6645 crores.

The Ministry of Heavy Industries on Wednesday made an exciting announcement unveiling a brand new scheme aimed at promoting e-transportation across the country. The initiative is scheduled to run from April 2024 to July 2024, covering a period of four months, with an amount of A budget of Rs.500 crores has been allocated.
