Gujarat NMMS Scholarship 2024-25 : State Examination Board, Gandhinagar National Means Come for students studying in Class-8 with the aim of enabling bright students from poor economic status in the state to complete their studies up to STD -12 and reduce the drop-out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools. A Yojana called Merit Scholarship (N.M.M.S) is implemented by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. National Means Come Merit Scholarship (N.M.M.S) Yojana for students studying in STD 8 with the aim of enabling bright students from poor economic status in the state to complete their studies up to STD -12 and to reduce the drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools from MHRD, NEW DILHI has been implemented. Exam to select the beneficiary students will be conducted by the State Examination Board, Gandhinagar soon.

National Means Cum Merit Scholarship | NMMS Exam Gujarat 2024

Eligibility for NMMS Scholarship 2024
- Student should be a native of state Of Gujarat.
- Students studying in STD -8 in Govt. Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, Zilla Panchayat Schools, Municipal Schools, Municipal Schools & Granted Primary Schools are applicable for this scholarship.
- General category & OBC category student should have secured minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in STD -7.
- A student belonging to SC and ST category should have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grade in STD -7.
- Students studying in private schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya School and schools where boarding, dining & study services are provided will not be able to fill the Online form for this scholarship.
Amount under N.M.M.S Scholarship Scheme
- Class 9th and 10th Annual Rs.22000/- will get scholarship.
- Class 11th and 12th Annual Rs.25000/- scholarship will be available.
- If a student gets admission in a government or grant-aided school in class 9, the following scholarships are available.
- Annually in STD 9 and 10 Rs.6000/- scholarship will be available.
- Annually in STD 11 and 12 Rs.7000/- scholarship will be available.
If the student fails in any class or leaves the school during the studies of class 9 to 12, the scholarship will be stopped.
Documents Required for NMMS Scholarship Application
- Aadhaar proofs have to be attached with the online filled Online form.
- Currency of Fee Payment (For SEB only)
- Attested copy of the annual income statement of the beneficiary student's family.
- Mark sheet of the student of STD -7 or its equivalent basis.
- Copy of Student's Gender Certificate (if Eligible)
- Disability certificate if the student is disabled (if Eligible)
Gujarat NMMS 2024 Exam Structure
- The question paper will be of total 120 marks & time Duration will be 150 minutes.
- The question paper of the Exam will be in Gujarati/English language
- Students can take this examination in Gujarati or English medium.

NMMS Scholarship Apply Online 2024 | Online Application Process
- The student has to go to the official Portal sebexam.org.
- So the official Portal will open as per the image shown below. Out of which the "Online Apply" box on the homepage has to be ticked.
- After that, you have to click Here on the "Apply Now" button on the "National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme" (CLASS-8).
- Now NMMS 2024 Application Form will open in a new page. All the mentioned details have to be filled in English.
- Student information should be filled from U-Dise Number.
- Student's name should be written as per Aadhaar card. And copy of Aadhaar card has to be uploaded.
- Student has to upload copy of caste certificate, proof of income, etc. as requested.
- After filling all the information as requested, finally click Here on submit. So Application Number will be generated. Which has to be saved for further process.
- After that, in the next Upload Photo step, the student's signature and photo have to be uploaded in jpg format.
- Now, the Online from has to be confirmed by entering the application number & date of birth in the "Conform Application".
- So confirmation number will be given. A printout of the application has to be taken from there.
