This is a scheme started by the Tribal Development Department. The Laptop Sahay Scheme was launched by the Government of Gujarat. The main purpose of this Yojna is to buy new laptops for ethnical scholars. Through this Tu Yojana, the Govt. of Gujarat(S.T) provides backing to ethnical scholars to advance in the field of Education.

The Department of Tribal Development (S.T) provides the benefit of Laptop Sahay Scheme to ethnical scholars. A total loan of over to ₹.1,50,000/- is given for purchase of computer & laptop & its colorful machines. In which the devisee has to contribute at the rate of 10 of the total loan.
like; If the devisee buys a laptop of ₹.50,000 /- the Gujarat Govt. will give a loan of 80 i.e. ₹.40,000/- to the devisee and the remaining 20 i.e. ₹.10,000/- will have to be paid to the devisee.
