Kutumb Sahay Yojana-કુટુંબ સહાય (સંકટ મોચન) યોજના 

રાષ્ટ્રીય કુટુંબ સહાય યોજના (સંકટ મોચન યોજના) : Under this scheme, the following central assistance will be available in case of death of male or female main earner of the family due to natural circumstances or accident. The Yojana provides for providing high cash assistance to the family in order to help the family in the calamity.

Who can get the benefit of Kutumb Sahay Scheme?

• Age of deceased should be between 18 to 60 years.
• The deceased should be included in the BPL list.
• The deceased must be the head of the family.
• The application should be made within a time limit of two years from the date of death.

Where to apply for National Family Support Scheme or Sankat Mochan Scheme?

• For urban area which has to be applied in the provincial office of that area.
• For Gram Panchayat Area – Application under this scheme has to be made to the Deputy District Development Officer.
• For Metropolitan Municipal Area – Commissioner UCD in Municipal Corporation Office. Application has to be made in the branch.
• The authority to grant assistance under this National Family Support Scheme has been delegated to the above officer and the form of National Family Support Scheme will also be available from his office.

• Once the family of the main earner dies, Rs.20000/- is supported by Direct Account Jama (DBT)
